2 DAQCard-1200's in a laptop, MAX sees only 1...

Greetings:

Has anyone had an issue with running two DAQCard 1200's in one laptop?
Windows sees both cards but MAX only sees one. I've tried this in two
machines (the other is a Digital TS30G) and had the same results.

I'm running Lab 6.0.2 with Max 2.0.3.6 and NI-DAQ 6.8.0f9 on a Sony VAIO
PCG-FX390K with Windows 2K SP1. Digital laptop TS30G with Windows NT 4.0
SP3(?).

Thanks
Thomas

Yes, there is an issue with running 2 identical cards on a laptop under
older versions of NI-DAQ. Fixed in NI-DAQ 6.9.1 SR2.

I couldn't immediately find it on the NI Web site, but have a look at
the readme file in
ftp://ftp.ni.com/support/daq/pc/ni-daq/6.9.1/ServiceRelease2/ .

I.e. upgrade to NI-DAQ 6.9.1 then run the service relea
se 2 patch.

Best, Mark

I've run into the same problem (running two DAQCard 1200's in one laptop, Max sees only one). I'm using NI-DAQ 6.9.3, laptop has windows2000 on it. I downloaded the patch in the link ftp://ftp.ni.com/support/daq/pc/ni-daq/6.9.1/ServiceRelease2/ and ran it. It seemed to install ok, but the problem persists (I restarted the laptop after installing the patch). Is there a different patch to NI-DAQ 6.9.3 ??
