A devloped VI is looking for a Vi named ''

Find attached in the zip file a vi named Initial_I_DP and its sub vi's. If you open Initial_I_DP you will get the standard missing vi splash box requesting a location for a sub vi named ''. (The splash box is captured in the bmp file). If you cancel the splash box, vi Initial_I_DP is runable. No errors even though it could't find sub vi ''. How do I fix this error?

That is truly weird. Even when I deleted everything in the VI, I still got the search dialog. Howver, when I copied everything on the diagram to a new VI and saved that, the dialog did not appear when opening the copy.

Hello,

This problem has been found to occur if you open a VI with globals in 7.0 that was written in LV 5.1 or 6.0. Unfortunately, the only workaround is as Dennis describes, which is to copy the block diagram entirely into a new VI in version 7.0.

Our R&D team has been working on this issue and it will be fixed for a future version of LabVIEW.

I hope this helps! Please let me know if there is anything further I can do for you.
