Active Silicon Phoenix Board

Hey everyone,

Would Labview be able to integrate frame garbber boards from Active Silicon?  I am trying to work with Active silicon phoenix D24CL but had no success so far.

Thanks,

Looks like just a COM Serial port from pg 15

you only need the command list and syntax from the manual.

Shouldn't the actual card itself show up as my devices under NiMax devices ?

Only devices from NI show up in MAX.

The datasheet mentions an SDK and a LabVIEW driver. Presuming that this is what you are using, you'll want to contact the vendor with any problems of their code.

True. How about the camera which is sitting on that COM port? Should it not show up?

No. It is not possible for the actual serial device to be detected.

p.s.

The camera is not connected to the serial port, is it? That does not make much sense to me. The com port on your frame grabber is what would be connected to the pc.
