If you're running a LabVIEW program you'll need LabVIEW or LabVIEW Runtime Engine installed. Do the target computers without labview have the runtime?

the target computer has runtime installed but with no labview. and it is fine to run other exe files with no activex container.
I am using labview 7.1

Hi Fluencyu,
As a number of other forum users have pointed out, the most likely source of this problem is not LabVIEW but missing ActiveX controls. If you install the Microsoft Office web components onto the target machine, I think you should solve this issue. You may need to do a repair on the LabVIEW runtime engine so that it correctly finds the link but I suspect LabVIEW will find the dependancy.
Let us know how you get on.
Many thanks,

Hi all,
I had a similar problem. I tried to load MS spreadsheet 11.0 control into acivex container ( LV10 and office 2003 ). LV just closed down. However the control would load into MS Word.
I downloaded and installed the web components ocw11.exe. Succes...the control now loads into the container!. However, there are now 2 listings of the control when I do a right click on the container. One works the other doesn't.
cheers
