I wrapped up the latest code in a project and also reduced some code into a subVI so it looks all pretty. So far so good! Sorry Ive been a bit quiet as of late its been pretty darn hectic in the office.

Thank you for that, I'm almost done with the programming and am getting Ra values very close to what I had expected. I am completely lost with how to modify the Spline filter to implement the equations attached to the first post in this thread though. i.e. to turn the Spline filter into a Robust Spline filter. Thank you for all your help so far you've been great. Below is the code and some XL data you can run through it. Working perfect, but like i said as a standard Spline filter. If you run the code and look at the dip in the graph between 370 and 420 you can see the mean line gets dragged down too far. I think there is a word file attached near the start of this thread explaining with the aid of two diagrams the difference between the standard spline and the robust spline.
