Can I install Labview 7.1 and 8.2 on the same machine?

We havent changed our production machines to 8.2 yet but I just bought the package and that is the version I received, can I install them both on a WinXP pro machine?

If not, is my serial number and registration good for uninstalling 8.2 and installing 7.1?

Yes you can install two different versions on the same machine.  I also think you should call and talk to their inside sales people to see about getting the older version.
