Can I use pattern mathcing with a varible size template?

     In my application,the distance between the workpiece and the camera will vary a little, so the size of the object which I will match will differ from the template. In many times , I can't get the proper match result. When using IMAQ VISION,can I resolve this problem?

Have you tried the Shape Matching tools?  They work well for edge detection of objects.  Can't tell what you are looking at without an image.  Attach one to the next post if you still have an issue.
