Can anyone help with a vi?

Hello

I changed a vi that i was using by mistake. There was a device name going into the vi. I opened up the vi and i deleted the device name control and when i tried to put it back it wouldnt work. Now i cant input the device name to the vi and it is affecting the whole program. The name of the vi is AOUpdate.vi and it is used with the NI USB 9008. If anyone knows how to change the vi so that i can have a terminal for the devide name or if they have that vi will they please pass it on to me please. Thanks.

The way to have a control in the connector pane is clearly stated in the LV user manual - you need to open the front panel, right click the VI's icon and select "Show Connector" and then click the empty connector followed by the control. That's it.

If you have not saved the modified VI, all is well. Simply select "file...revert" from the menu.

I had saved the modified vi but i was able to get it from someone else so im ok now. Thanks anyway.
