Hi i'm new here.
I've installed LV 2017 Professional.
NI LabVIEW 2017 Database Connectivity Toolkit appear to be installed in the NI Package Manager but i can't find it in the windows 7 start menu neither in the connectivity palette (no db functions there). Why? I'm trying to start a project with my db...

Have you activated it in NI license manager?
Is it visible in NI License manager?

You've not installed the database toolkit - or it would appear in the license manager to be licensed or as already licensed.
Try re-installing that component (you won't see it within the program list.)
Did you install the desktop execution trace toolkit instead of the database toolkit by accident - they would be fairly close in the drop down menu when installing.
[edit]
you've now updated the full image to show the smaller icons on the right which makes my initial response above probably wrong. Let me re-look at the pic and think.

I wonder if it's either:
- something to do with the evaluation install - I suspect you haven't activated your professional license or it would show more than 5 days left on the Application builder.
- something to do with LabVIEW NXG - you are looking for the database toolkit in 2017 not NXG aren't you?
- needs a repair
Have you tried finding a function with quickdrop (Ctrl <Space>) - something like DB Tools
in case the palette has moved/installed to a different place?

I've uninstalled and reinstalled but nothing is changed.
So i've tried to ran a snippet downloaded from the internet and i've get this error: db connectivity for LV 17 is missing.

Probably time to raise a support request with NI.

Hmm,
Forum being slow yesterday when I posted.
Your solved message was not there.
It's always worth mentioning if you are using 64bit LabVIEW as there is much less support and functionality for that than for the 32bit LabVIEW.
Glad you've got it working.
