Cannot use latest version to run a VI generated in Labview 8.6

Hi all, I have a VI created on version 8.6, but when I try to run it using version 2014. It didn't work. What should I do to deal with this problem? Thank you so much.

No error showed and no file missing. It is just when I click run, nothing happened. There should be a graph occurs showing the change of a wave. Is there something related to the backwards compatibility?

What does the VI do? Did you look at the block diagram and use the available debugging tools to determine what is going on?

You say you are looking for a change in a wave.  Does that mean you are reading from a DAQ card?  Do you have the necessary drivers installed?  Are any references to DAQ cards named correctly, or did any names change?  Is this on the same PC or a different PC?
