Rif.: Change labview default version application

Hi,

I'm about to upgrade LabVIEW 8.5 to 2010.

I'd like to be able to revert to 8.5 or resume 2010 on demand.

Can you tell me is there an application to set the default version of labVIEW?

You can keep both versions on your HD and choose which one to use each time!

Not at all....

I don't know if there is an option to set that can allow you to set which version is the default version of LV. I have 3 versions of LV installed on my PC and to control which version of LV I want set as default I simply have a link on my desktop that link to the properly LV exe. To launch the other versions of LV I have to loking for them into the program menu of window.

Hi SeanJ,

the last opened version writes a link into the registry. If you close all labview versions and double click on a vi, then it will be opened with the last used (opened) version.
