Changing display of digital control

The digital control display has two tiny arrows on the left to control numerical values. These tiny arrows are rather inconvenient to use due to their size. How do I enlarge the arrows or attach larger buttons to control the tiny arrows?

Make a right click on the control. Choose "Advanced >> Customize...". You get a new window which is the control editor. Click in the toolbar on the leftmost button. The display changes and you can resize each element of the control. When you clase this window youare asked to store the control and you are asked to change the control which you right clicked.
