Comapatibility issue between LabVIEW 2023 and LabVIEW 2025

We purchased LabVIEW Suite+ 2025 (Subscription). However, before proceeding, we need clarification from the NI side regarding a compatibility concern.

Our medical tester currently runs:

  • LabVIEW Builder: 2023 Q3
  • TestStand Builder: 2021 Q1

The new software provided is LabVIEW Suite+ 2025 (Subscription). Due to the version mismatch, we are unable to activate the offline license key, and it appears we will need to install the new 2025 version on our tester.

Before involving our customer for approval, we kindly request NI confirmation for our internal records:
Can NI confirm that installing LabVIEW 2025 will not impact the functionality of our existing test sequences or compiled code?

If NI have an alternative approach or recommendation to maintain compatibility without upgrading, we’re open to suggestions.

Looking forward to your response.

Thank you!!

By purchasing the LabVIEW 2025 license you are allowed to download any version of LabVIEW you would need. You would be able to download LabVIEW 2023 from the package manger. You could develop with 2023 even if you have a 2025 license. This would allow time for you to download 2025 and test your code for issues with 2025.

Hello Tim,

If I understood correctly, from the link I received it from NI, I can download 2023 version as well regardless which link I received, right?

Regards,

Yash
