Combobox crash

Hi all.

When I run a VI with a combobox on it, inside a SubPanel and I dropdown the combobox and press any button, Labview crashes in "transact.cpp", line 2108.  Demo files are attached. 

Any help would be appreciated.

Doesn't crash under LabVIEW 8.2 in Windows. I tried in 7.1.1f2 and it doesn't crash there either. Probably a 7.1.1 problem.

Thank you for testing it out.  What is this 1.1.7f2 version you are using?  I cannot find a reference to it on Google.

7.1.1f2 was an update to 7.1.1 to fix some problems with 7.1.1 and .NET 2.0. It's probably not going to affect your situation since that's the only thing it fixed. The infomation about the patch is at http://digital.ni.com/softlib.nsf/websearch/E0768D56ECF0BDB9862570BB005C4CD9. Unfortunately I don't have a computer here at work with just 7.1.1 so I can't test the VI under that exact version.

Hi Christie,

I have tried your code under LV 8.2.1 and 7.1 and do not see your issue.

I would follow the advise of smercurio_fc and download the 7.1.1 update and give that a go.
The only other thing it could be is a bad install of LabVIEW or of the patch to 7.1.1

If you can't upgrade to a later version of LabVIEW defiantly get the free 7.1.1f2 update.

I have tried the code on another PC with same version of Labview and it works without any problems.  It is probably a bad install or patch of Labview as you said, James.
