Complete unistallation of NI-DAQmx 9.1.7

Hi,

I am the end-user of a device that measures permeability which requires NI-DAQ 9.1.7 to work.

Due to a bug in the third-party code I have to reinstall NI-DAQ.

However, after unistalling and reinstalling NI-DAQ and using the import wizard in "Measuring & Automation Explorer" to get the new configuration the wizard detected already installed code. Obviously, the unistallation leaves some (registry?) entrys behind.

Overwriten the existing code didn't solve the bug (which does not appear on a clean system), so I have to install it from scratch.

So, how can I completely remove all NI software & entries from the system without reinstalling the whole OS (Windows 7 Pro 64bit)?

Or is there another way to fully delete the faulty config and import the new one?

Thank you,

Philipp

Configuration is found under Documents & Settings\All Users\Application Data\National Instruments. I would delete that directory and Programs Files\National Instruments If you do a complete uninstall

Thank you, seems to work.

However, is there a way to completely remove the device config without reinstalling the whole NI-DAQ?

'Cause it looks like I have to do that a couple of times in the future, and the complete reinstallation takes quite a lot of time.

I tried deleting the device in Measuring & Automation Monitor (that worked - it disappeared from the device list), but when importing the new config the "deleted" one reappeares and is marked as warnings and conflicts. Is there a specific folder or file in Documents & Settings\All Users\Application Data\National Instruments that I could delete to get rid of the old config?
