I have someold examples of library made with an old labview version

I need helpto convert these files in labview 8.6

I don't think these are going to do you much good. For one thing, they use Traditional DAQ. For another, the code is poorly written.  Your call.

DO NOT HIJACK THREADS. This thread is for converting old code into newer versions of LabVIEW.

i am new to LV..

 

could someone please help me convert these vi into 8.6 version?

 

these were written in 8.2 and for some reason i can't open them in 8.6.

Those VIs were not written in 8.2. They are in LabVIEW 4.0 which is very clearly stated when you attempt to open one with 8.6. Here they are in version 7.1. Hope you have the missing dll.

No, they are actually written in LV4.0.  You will need someone with a version of LV between versions 6.0 and 8.2 (inclusive) to open them and save the files.  Then you will be able to open them in LV 8.6

 

Unfortunately, I don't have LV8.2 on this PC to do it for you.
