Hi Ray,

Here is a part of a program from my friend (quite simple), the problem is that there is no Timing VI in both output process and input process (data acquisition process). In this condition, can I know the  data acquisition period, or the rate at which data points (samples) are being acquired (sampled).

Thank you very much!

Regards

Although I mentionned to post in a new thread, I'll give a quick reply...

I don't think so because the loop is free running.  Now, you may look at how you've configured the analog output which is a single sample per call.  The voltage will remain constant unless you change the value in "Voltage" control.

Actually, I'm not sure I understand what you are trying to do.  I can only guess that you would like to generate a voltage (pulse?) at deined time intervals.  If so, you may look at some alternatives, including using a timed loop.  There might be some examples of what you are trying to do on the forum.  Have you tried searching?

Also, in the new thread, can you explain or describe what you are trying to achieve, not what you have to work with (well, although that is also helpful).

Cheers,

R

Here is the library, it should have all the remaining VIs.

Hopefully this is the last one.

Did you check out the others?  the ones I recently submitted?

I should be able to do the rest tomorrow morning.

There others are good except for the those two you mentioned.

That should be the last of it. Hopefully.

Thanks so much for the help! It is very much appreciated.

Would you be able to do me one last favor.

Could you convert the following files into Labview 5?

I just added my VI to the ones I asked you to convert.

I plan on using these files in 8.6, but for now I will have to

use the older version.

Sorry, I forgot some VIs.

Most of those VIs are ones that you had converted from 5.0 so why would you need them converted back?

You are now asking for something non-trivial. In order to save from 8.6 to 5.0, you will need 7 different versions of LabVIEW. I can't speak for Ray but I suspect you will have a very long wait.
