DAQ Assist missing in LabVIEW 2019

There is no DAQ Assistant in LabVIEW 2019 Professional. I have tried 32 and 64 bit versions. If it has been removed, please bring it back.

If you do not see the DAQ Assistant in LabVIEW 2019 (32-bit), then you have not installed it.  When I open my newly-installed LabVIEW 2019 (32-bit) and open a VI, the Dreaded DAQ Assistant (the DDA, which I never use -- DAQmx is so much better) is right there.

Here are snippets of a blank 2019 VI with the DDA, as well as some of the Installed Software seen by MAX (showing DAQmx).

I have installed DAQmx. MAX says the NI-DAQmx Device Driver is version 19.0.0f1. LabVIEW 2018 is working OK with this.

DAQ Assistant might be dreaded, but when a need a quick program to test hardware, DAQ Assist is handy to use.

Why write a program to test hardware? All of the functionality that you need to test hardware is available in NI-MAX.

Can you post a screen shot of the Software Tab in MAX?  Something seems to have gone astray somehow ...

Just to be sure you installed in the right order. Did you install NI-DAQmx 19 after LabVIEW2019?

I am talking about sensors, not NI hardware.

So am I. What can you do with a DAQ Assistant to test the sensors that you can't do with NI-MAX?

Why do you ask? I want DAQ Assistant and I don't get it with LabVIEW 2019. Even NI DAQmx is missing. I have also tried to reinstall Drivers DVD 19.1. Maybe I have to wait for the next DVD?
