I'm trying to design a VI that writes current out (4-20 mA) but I can't get it to work? I have attached my VI - I have sucessfully create a task ect. - I want to be able to change the output at any given time, so I figured that I needed to configure my task to running "countinusly" and not 1 sample or N samples? I get a couple of diffenrent errors depending on how I configure the VI : "Buffer size to small" and "Not enough samples were written to satisfy the initial data transfer request condition" - If someone could give me some pointers on how to create what I would thing was a simple VI to satisfy my needs, I would be really happy! So what I need is: A VI that can control a current output 4-20 mA - It should be able to change the output a any given time (not too time critical - within .5 sec) nb. versions for both 8.2 and 8 is attached
