Sure. Right click on the control in either the diagram or front panel,
and select Create->Attribute node. On the diagram, an attribute node
tho the control is created. You can select the "Visible" attribute, and
set the visible to True or False, depending on the ring control. This
will "Hide" or "Unhide" the control at the appropriate time.
