OK, this will be a stretch.

I've gotten used to using the "Application Directory.vi" in 2009, but now am forced to do work in 8.6 again.

Can anyone unlock this VI so it can be saved to a previous version?

so you ask for someone to unlock a VI from the vi.lib - where only NI has the key? (And they probably will not pass that key nor will unlock vi.lib-functions...)

But you may try this VI with "COMMON APP PATH"...
