Downconvert VI Requests

Hi,  I too would like to appeal if some helpful soul can assist with a downconversion.

I'm using a US-Digital encoder data acquisistion card.  They have been able to provide me with a .lib containing 109 vi's.  They are all small vi's containing a function call.

I've got it converted from 8.6 to 8.0, but now need to get it back to 7.1.  I've really tried to get hold of LV8.0 with no luck.  Is anyone willing to asist me? (I'm really not keen on the idea of re-coding 109 function calls).

Thanks in advance.

Hi s class,

first you should make a "Tree.vi" which contains all of those 109 small VIs. Then you should attach the tree.vi with all it's subVIs in a ZIP file. Then someone will be glad to help you...

Best regards,
GerdW

Thank you for your help, GerdW.

attached is a ZIP containing a top level vi (tree) with all the 109 subvi's in it.  The ZIP also contains the 109 subvi's, and the relevant DLL.

It is currently in version 8.0, and if someone can convert it back to 7.1, I would be very grateful.

Thanks, Ryan

The custom control was not included so I disconnected the two instances of it from the typedef. While it may be pretty on the front panel, I despise any program that has an infinite loop, requiring one to use the Abort button to actually stop the program.
