Easy Print vi Silver control quality

I have just ran into an interesting bug?

I use the Easy Print VI to print my front panel's visible part. I had a few silver controls (now I will just replace them) on the FP, and I just realised that

the print into pdf quality is bad, only for the silver controls (Modern and System controls are ok, maybe the best looking is the System control).

See this snippet to reproduce the problem. I tried two pdf printers: Foxit reader printer and Free PDF. Both produces the problem, under LV2012 and LV2014 too.

Why the silver controls cannot be printed properly into pdf?

Two words: color resolution. You should see the same effect on screen if you reduce the color resolution of your monitor, or do a screen shot and reduce the color resolution in paint.

If the screen is customer facing you should have been using System controls anyway.
