Hi  All,

I am new to labVIEW, i am trying to build an application Freqresponse.exe from the NI example Frequencyresponse.vi

wheni press build button on buildspecifications error pop's up and saying you have to select a startup VI before building

I am using Evaluation version of 8.5

Well, did you specify a startup VI? In the build properties, there is a category called Source Files. In the center of this window, is a list of the project files. Select the top level VI and click the arrow to add it to the list of Startup VIs. If you open the on-line help, search for 'stand-alone applications' and open the 'building (how-to)' topic for a step-by step description.

Now i was able to generate stand-alone application

If u don't mind can u tell me how can i go to online help do you mean by Ctrl+?
