Looks like I needed to add the sub VI here as well - I’m new at this. FYI, I started out utilizing one of the examples that came with the software and then tweaked it. Where possible, I try to start with something that works and then bend it to my needs.

Two questions:
1) Are you satisfied with the replies you have recieved so far? ![]()
2) Did this issue have anything to do with the file you were trying to play becoming unavailable?

I didn’t get any replies. Page 113 from the below link stimulated me to play around with it until I found something that did work. Not sure what I was doing wrong to begin with, but it works now.
