it had a path, just didnt show because it was a browser...
now instead of a browser i placed a constant with the correct path.
but that wasnt the error, even if i put the wrong path, it generates the same mistake.
You can see in these two JPGs, in the first one is the correct path, the second one even the extension is messed up, and the error is the same.
Something about NI-488 device not found.

The NI 488 error is very common and could be down to various reasons (e.g. when a path is incorrect) . Is it possible for you to post the vi along with the appropriate files so that i can replicate the problem?

It works fine on my computer. Try to turn on the execution highlight button from the toolbar to find out during which step the error was generated.

Hi,
can you try to run the attached vi? If it does not run, there might be a problem with the LabVIEW installation. Is the image on the screenshot what I should expect to see?
Thanks,
