If no one else is using NI software on the computer, it's better to remove all NI software from the control panel (not only LabVIEW). Then you can re-install LabVIEW 8.5 either from

a disk or download it from the following link:

Let me know how it goes,

I reinstalled labview 8.5, and the problem remains.
I cannot uninstall the program because we have a evaluation version of the DSC module, and if I unisntall we´ll lose it.
I still have labview 8.2 and 7.1 installed, should that be a problem?

No, it shouldn't be a problem. Does the same error occur if you create the same VI with LabVIEW 8.2 instead of LabVIEW 8.5?

Does anyone have a known good VRML file I can try to load.  I can't seem to find a good example.

I've already sent a VRML in this post, and I've already tried other vrml's I've found in the internet, and yet again it doesn't seem to work here.

Kostas B already tested my VRML and it worked, with my own VI, Felipe from the NI technical suport too. I've already reinstalled the software many times and tried on different versions of Labview and the error remains.

Do I need a toolkit or something extra for it?  Is Windows XP service pack 2 not compatible ( o.O ) ?
