Hello everyone,
I am using LabVIEW 2012 in combination with a CompactRIO and a FPGA. So far I had no problems compiling VIs on the FPGA and using them, just until today.
After installing NI VISA drivers (NI VISA 16) and instrument drivers for an Agilent device last week, I needed to compile one VI on the FPGA today (with which I did not have any problems compiling so far).
Now I do receive an internal software error in the compile worker saying the following:
"LabVIEW FPGA: An internal software error in the compile worker has occured.
Error -61330 occurred at niFpgaCompileWorker_ProcessStatusPipe.vi:1<-niFpgaCompileWorker_GetStatus.vi<-niFpgaCompile_Worker.vi:1"
Moreover:
"Possible reason(s):
LabVIEW FPGA: An internal software error in the compile worker has occured.
There was a problem initializing the compilation. Exception: There was an attempt on reading or writing on the protected storage. This is often a hint, that the other Storage is damaged." (the last two sentences were translated by me because it's written in another language).
Things I tried to get rid of the problem:
Updating to LabVIEW 2012 SP1 (with FPGA and cRIO Softwares and device drivers) and uninstalling FPGA wizard from the VISA driver kit. Both things did not help solving the problem.
Does anyone of you have an idea about the problem or how I could fix it? I am pretty sure, that the VISA driver is the reason for the error, but I cannot uninstall it, because I need it for another device. Furthermore I want to avoid reinstalling LabVIEW.
Kind regards,
Nico

Hi,
you use LV 2012 SP1 and VISA 16.0? Then I would suspect that the update to VISA 16 caused the problem since VISA 16.0 only supports LabVIEW 2013 or later:
NI-VISA 16.0 for Windows Readme
http://download.ni.com/support/softlib//visa/NI-VISA/16.0/Windows/readme.html
Please reinstall your software with compatible SW and driver version.
Best regards,
Christoph
