Thank you - this control works well!

There is still one "blind spot" and you can output in some circumstances void string, the "fooling" sequence is:

1. Click on the control, for example it can show A (the character is also selected).

2. Instead of typing a letter or up/down arrow keys (which work perfectly) press the left arrow few times until the cursor moves before the string

3. Then press Delete or any letter, which is not part of the list (for example in the original control any letter except A, B and C) and the control will show blank value.

I am not trying to fix the empty string bug.  In fact, you can't fix this bug by customizing the ctrl.

What you can do this call NI to report this bug and get a CAR#.  Hopefully NI will fix it.
