The solution of Jeff is the better soluition.
Mine is the lazy man solution
, only use this if the problem only persists at the beginning.
Though recommend you to use Jeffs idea which is better overall

Hi Jeff,
Thanks for your answer. I think I understand what you mean now.
From the diapgram you drew when the VI is in error the handled output becomes True and the Numeric Indicator becomes 0 and the error output is cleared. I guess I need one of these routines per frequency channel. Also where do you recomend connecting the Handled and Numeric outputs within the VI.
I massively appreciate your help.
I have booked myself onto a couple of NI training days in January so hopefully I will become a bit more self sufficient with this sruff!

That's great thanks Jeff.
How would I create the Error handler? I guess that contains the case structure you showed earlier and that is made into the block... How would I go about that?
I guess that NI course can't come soon enough!!

the same way I remade it. FROM the snipette.
Drag the picture to your desktop, drag it to a blank BD POOF!
