Would anyone possibly know how to convert a tool developed in vision builder for automated inspection into labview so that when we connect a thermal camera and have a live image, the tool from vision builder analyses the image on labview?
Thanks for the help

from VBAI, select Tools >> Migrate inspection to LabVIEW, I *think*, you can only do this if you have VDM and VBAI Dev Toolkit activated, not sure though.
We have two ears and one mouth so that we can listen twice as much as we speak.

Yes I have managed this far, but when you actually get the tool onto labview, on the block diagram, where the image analysis says like "find edges" or "gray scale color" you only get question marks on the controls... And none of the steps of vision builder work then.

it all works for me... launch your NI licence manager and check that you have Vision Acquisition Software and Vision Development module installed and activated.

Titou,
just a little question, do you have like a video imaging or something similar and you can get data from the tool developed in vision Builder? like temperature or just any feature from VB AI?
thanks very much 🙂

I really don't understand what you mean...

well I have a live image from a thermal camera basically on Labview, and I was wondering if the tools developed in VB AI like for example analysing (from a picture) temperature or finding edges... could apply to this live image on Labview? Of course when I would transform the tool from VB to Labview.
Cheers

It is very weird, this is what I get as a reply when I try to convert from VB AI to LabView
And here is also a picture of my NI License Manager, from where I have activated "successfully" VAS and VDM...
I don't understand why it won't work...

is the Vision Debug Deployment important to activate, or does it not make a difference? because it has to be activated separately...
Cheers 🙂
