Front panel has transparency at edges

Message contains an image

I noticed this weird transparency on a front panel. Nothing about this VI should be transparent. At first I thought it was not maximizing correctly, but the title bar occupies the full width. Recently we have been (forced) to use Windows 11 and it seems to be related to that as I have never seen this on a Window 10 machine. Also maybe worth noting is that the executable and installer are built on a Windows 10 machine.

Re: Front panel has transparency at edges

the gap is exactly 10 pixels.  Same as window's edge.

Which version of LabVIEW are you using?

LabVIEW 2022 Q3 and later are compatible with Windows 11.

I'm compiling in LV2020. Is that the issue?

I don't know if this is a compatible issue or a LabVIEW bug.

Maybe you try to recompile the VI on a Windows 11 computer.

Any chance you have it set to run full screen and don't let the user resize the window? And does it go away if you let the user resize the window?

If so... I think you have to allow the user to resize or use the property node trick Gregory proposed in the linked thread. Because I get this with a VI set to full screen/not allow resizing in LV2023 Q3 on Windows 11. Might be fixed in a later version, but I kinda doubt it.

Maybe there's some Windows theming issue going on (see billko's first post in the linked thread).

Yes. This sure seems like a similar issue. I will look a bit more later.

These threads come up every now and then. It's usually some combination of Windows, LV and graphics card driver issues.
