I setup an measurement place for laserdiodes (LD) to get an VI charecteristic. Therefore it's necessary to drive the LDs with pulsed voltages. Because of that, i also have to measure the pulses. But if measure the voltage over the diode and calculate the current it isn't possible to generate a XY-plot for the VI charecteristic, because of the 0 V between each pulse.
So my question is: How can i just measure the peak of each pulse i generate? I already build up a VI with an analog trigger to the generated square voltage. Can is just start the measurement with an rising edge and stop it with falling edge for example? Or does anyone have got an idea how to build up such an VI ?
The frequency should be about 100 kHz.
