Graphical Interface for an 80 channel Switch?

I've got no Idea, how I to develop an Interface for an DigitalMultimeter with 80 Channels. Each Channel should be configureable separatly, and new ones addable, while Measurements are running.

How many need to be displayed at once?
It will make a big difference how your GUI should be setup.

That's the tricky thing. It would be fine if all are displayed at once, so the user has the probability to add new DUTs durring others are measured. There are several Options to select: DCV,ACV,DCI,ACI,2-Wire,4-Wire-Resistance,...
For each slection ther are some additional selection avaiable: like Range, Time to measure,.....
So what do you say? Do I have to display all Channels?

Any time you have 80 of any pice of data, your best bet is not to display it all at once. Categorize the types of parameters. Create an interface for each of those categories, list all units in a listbox so that the user can select which DUT they wish to work with, and depending on the users selection in the listbox display the appropriate interface screen so that the user can modify the settings. Hope that helps.

Thanks for your suggestion.
I found a way to solve the problem.
I did not focus on the DUT but on the Measurement.
I collected similar Measurements and visualized it with an AciveX control. I created a Class "Measure", and the Objects are configured interacive(Volts,Current,...). Then the User has the opportunity add CHANNELS. When the Measure is initated the Program evaluates the information and controls the Mulitplexer. The advantage is, that you can use one Channel more often (2Wire/4Wire Sensing) during one Measurement. You also can realize a Tasklist for more Instruments. Thats the next thing I want to realize.

But Thank for your attention
