Still the same problem. It sees the instrument but cannot communicate with it.

What is 'it'? I've asked you a couple times about what happens in MAX. I don't know if 'it' is MAX or the driver.

Just answer this simple question - What exactly happens when you do a scan form instruments in MAX? Attach a screen shot after the scan is complete.

Thank you. That tells me that there is nothing wrong with the basic communication and that you have an issue with the driver. Since the driver is unsupported and I cannot look at it now, you will have to do some basic troubleshooting. Create a simple init VI that does nothing but a *IDN? query with just a GPIB Write and a GPIB Read. Since the exact same thing was down in MAX, I would be very surprised if you get an error in LabVIEW. Add other parts of the driver back in one by one until you can isolate the exact source of the error.
