HP 33120A driver problems

I do not have the compiling software to edit and rebuild the C file, so I will stick to Dennis's suggestion of calling the HP33120A Query Error.vi after the initialise as a workaround. It gets rid of the error box on the function generator, and the communication remains unaffected, so that is good enough for me. 😃

Need help, I am trying to run a software to control the Hp33120a function generator via rs232 and the Labview9 could not locate Hp33120a.dll  where can I down load this link library? Depends. On my Vista pc, it's C:\Program Files\IVI Foundation\IVI\Bin. Have you tried the LabVIEW driver (no dll)? Is there a specific reason for using IVI?
