Has anyone created a LabVIEW VI to do an FCS or Frame Check sequence (ISO-309)?

Have had difficulty implementing ISO-3309 FCS or Frame Check sequence in LabVIEW. Has anyone suceeded in doing so? Is it available?

For those who do not know, FCS is a way to error check network transmissions.

I searched NI's site throughly and did not find any existing matieral on the issue. I also could not find anything on google.

I'm looking for a "Frame Check Sequence" Labview VI that I will use to communicate with an E5KC OMRON thermo-controller.

Does somebody know were to find it, possibly in LV7.1 (or previous), or were to download a FCS calculator executable program for WinXP?

      There is no VI for Frame Check sequence built in LabVIEW. You will have to program it with the shipping examples and understanding the elements of the protocol. As you guessed there is a lot of resources on the protocol in google that you can pull from to implement the same in LabVIEW.
