Help for a custom control

Is there a way to implement the same sort of help window for a custom control that you can do for a regular VI?

Thanks

Hi Eugene,
if you refer to the context help window, you can right click on each front panel object in edit mode and select Description and Tip, here you can type the message that will be displayed on the help window when you place the cursor on the object.
This text can be set/read progammatically by the Description property.

Hi,

Just fill in the Description (and Tip) of the control. It does accept
to make text bold (I think).

Regards,

Wiebe.

If you open the control file *.ctl you can open File>>Control Properties. In the Dialog navigate to Documentation. Here you can edit the description and enter the helpfile name and help tag.
