I am trying to load a custom .NET control to use within LabVIEW. When I go to load the .DLL, it gives me the following error: "An error occured while saving the .NET Control [name of the control]." I am following the steps in https://www.ni.com/docs/en-US/bundle/labview/page/creating-net-subpalettes.html. I have built the control with the target framework of .NET 2.0, and registered it in the GAC. I can add things from System.Windows.Forms just fine though, like a button.
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks,

Why are you following that? Are you actually trying to create your own palette, or simply use the control on a front panel? To use the control create a .NET container on the front panel, then right-click on the container and select "Insert .NET Control".
