Ho do I get this working again with LV v8? --- Was: Hidden Controls

The original thread is from 2006. Darren (NI) replied to it. I think a big problem is that although the LabVIEW programmers (who make LabVIEW) might think it is a good idea, they are not allowed to implement it. The last years they opened up a lot for suggestion. Some improvements are so obvious (like pressing ctrl in a project should open the diagram of a VI), but they have to compete on a (big) priority list. Untill LV8 a lot of stuff was added, that took priority over simple improvements. I hope with the current new versions, less major stuff is added, and more time can be spend on improving little things. I think that is what happened the last few versions. Between 8 and 10, not all that much was added, and a lot was improved. Great!

The way I normally do this is to use the "Reorder controls" button on the front panel task bar. This shows all controls, hidden or not, with their tabbing orders shown ready for editing.
