How can I set an overlap for PID control on 2 outputs

I found a similar topic how to set a deadband for PID control. Understood the solution, but now I wonder how can I set an overlap band for PID control, with overlap band in process unit (not PID percentage). Is this not possible with one PID block ?

Hi Zigbee1,

I could not find an existing example that already does this. Based on what you’ve described, I think the Dual Channel PID example would be a good starting point to implement this.

The PID VIs themselves aren’t password-protected, so you could potentially modify them to suit your needs.

Have you taken a look at that example?
