How to change the phase of the signal acquired through daq

Hi,

I am acquiring an AC signal from cdaq. I used the tone measurement.vi to measure its frequency and amplitude. They are accurate, but i have problems like

1. I need to measure its phase(can't be done with tone measurement).

2. I am acquiring the signal from inverter which needs to be controlled for its phase.

3.Is there any other way to control its phase.

Hi Rexaline,

when you want to measure the phase you need a reference signal. Do you have one?

Hi Gerd,

Glad to see your reply. Yeah I am generating another signal through simulate signal.vi.

Its also a sine signal having an amplitude of  10v. frequency 50Hz, Phase is under my control.  The signalacquiredthroughDAQishavingsameamplitudeandfrequency with that of the reference signal butIcan'tdomyphasesynchronizationbecauseofthe problem withphasemeasurement

Hi Rexaline,

you also have a problem with your SPACE key… 😄

What's the problem with your phase measurement?

You have a reference signal and a measurement signal. With those two you can determine the phase shift…

Hi Rexaline,

you wrote "Phase is under my control". So what is your problem?
