How to changel initial value of one global parameter

Hi all,

Thanks for your time in advance. 

I changed the initial value of a global parameter from 0 to 4 and then saved the VI. However, everytime I reopened the VI file, the initial value went back to zero. Any ideas?

Before saving, try selecting 'Edit -> Make Current Values Default'

For Labview 6.1, it is under Operate---Make Current Values Default...
