The manual located here http://gscatalogs.us.yokogawa.com/Controllers/Controllers/GreenSeries/GS05D01D02-02E.pdf page 10 shows terminals for a 4-wire RS-485 connection. If you get an RS-232/RS-485 adapter, you should be able to connect it to your PC. Though it says Communication Functions (optional) on page 7. Assuming you have the option, it talks about ModBUS protocol. There are Modbus LabVIEW VI's located on the NI website. This .pdf file isn't the most detailed, perhaps there is a better user manual or more advanced guide to discuss your communications options and protocols.
