How to convert VIs backward(from 8.5 to 8.2)?

Hi,

For some reason my installation of LV 8.5 didn't work correcly and I only have
a version 8.2 that I can use, but I can't open the VIs with 8.2 because they have
been made with 8.5. Is there a way to convert the VIs backward?

No need to help me on the installation matter, I have already contacted NI on that.
It will propably take at least till tomorrow before I get that fixed up, so I would like
to work with the previous version in the meanwhile if possible.

There is the File -->> Save for Previous Version option in the menu.

I didn't mention in the first post that can't use version 8.5 at all, because
of the error in installation. I can only use version 8.2 and the VIs are done
with 8.5. Is there a way to make the conversion, or should I just wait to get
the installation fixed up?

I think you ve to wait till the installtion gets completeted GOOD.

Sorry, I don't understand what do you mean. Hopefully I'll get version 8.5 working tomorrow,
so I can open the VIs with that. I don't understand what to report.

Whether your installation runs & completes smoothly & you re able to open the VIs.

Hi,

I got the installation finished on Friday, I just forgot to report here,
because of excitement Sorry about that.
The installation failed mostly because of my own mistake.
