Hyper terminal Launching from labview

Why do you need Hyperterminal to do this?  I have a feeling all it is doing is getting in the way.

I really have a hard time believing that your application demands hyperterminal. You have not attached any code so it is impossible to say what you have done wrong.

Since hyperterminal no longer shops with Windows and it does not have a programmatic interface, you are just painting yourself in a corner by insisting on using it.

Good Morning Dennis

Yes, offcourse my application does not require hyperterminal.Instead of Microcontroller code, for tcp trail i am using hyperterminal.

I am attaching a sample Vi with which I tried doing the connection from hyperterminal. The first question of mine is , Can a hyperterminal talk with VIs.???

If so, then how i should proceed.???

Vi is in 2013 version.

Why don't you try the built-in functions instead? You keep approaching this from the most difficult way.

Built in functions mean.... you are trying to tell to use the tcp functions in client also, instead of hyperterminal!!!

Everyone is suggesting that you use the LabVIEW tcp/ip functions instead of hyperterminal. You said you don't require hyperterminal so don't use it.

Okay,Okay.Fine then thank you Dennis. I will then try making communication with controller and the labview VI only directly.

But I am curious that why I met failure for using hyperterminal!!! What might be the reason Dennis?
