I am looking for some information on ELAN protocol for Siemens analyzers and also some information on AK protocol for California Analytical Analyzers. Mainly I need a starting point to communicate with these devices for labview.

With ultramat 23, the cheapest solution is with a USB cable like that :

But with this have to use rs485 loopback (some pins must be connected together)

Hello Happy Chen,

To control Ultramat 23 using these drivers (thanks to David !), you need :

 - http://sine.ni.com/nips/cds/view/p/lang/fr/nid/12845

 - BUT it won't work if you don't put the RS485 in Tx/Rx mode loopback.

           You can use this file for reference : 

                    http://www.ni.com/pdf/manuals/371253a.pdf

                    => RS-485/422 Loopback => TX/RX

Once you connect these pins, it should works.
