Importing gvi from other project into Web Application Project in NXG Web Module 5.0

Solved!
Go to solution

Is there a way to import previously written gvi, libraries, etc. from other NXG projects into a Web Application Project? Or is there a way to make a regular project into a web application project?

I am using NXG 5.0 and Web Module 5.0, but I cannot find a way to convert a gvi into gviweb or include a web application into an existing project.

I know that I can link files by selecting Add Files, but I am not sure if this is sufficient when I want to include it as a subVI for the WebVI and building it as a web page.

Yes, how do you include a dependency?  Is the only way to make the dependency an add on?

I self-resolved this issue by adding a new Web Server in System Designer and adding an Application. Then I was able to specify Web Server to add a gcomp for WebVI.

Hi pipipi0405,

If possible could you upload a few screenshots of how you managed to achieve this.

Thanks
