Instrument driver for TEAC LX-10 16 channel ADC with IEEE1394

Hi!

I would like to know if any one has experience with using TEAC instruments in LabVIEW?
Currently I'm designing an measurement setup and my customer wants to use a TEAC LX-10 A/D converter.
This ADC has an IEEE-1394 interface and I would then like to get the data and send control signals to the TEAC ADC via this interface.

TEAC has submitted a program where the data can be saved to some files - but is it possible to have this program work with LabVIEW?
More information about the TEAC LX-10 can be found at http://www.teac.com/lxseries.htm

Please feel free to answer my question here or drop an email at: rmje03@kom.aau.dk

Hi Rasmus

To control the Instrument from LabVIEW, you will have to call the TEAC dll (if available) directly using the Call Library function node in LabVIEW.
See following link on how to call external code from LabVIEW:

If the software provided by Teac is ActiveX based you can communicate to it from LabVIEW. Let me know if this is possible and I will provide you with more info.
If not, you can still run the application from LabVIEW using the system exec.vi function, but I'm afraid thats it.
