Internal Error: "datasupp.cpp" line 3381

Hi everyone,

Can anyone help me out here ?

I'm receiving the internal error named at the subject. It is completely reproducible.

It happens allways when executing the "Search And Replace String"-function, and only then, when I connect to the "Offset"-input of this function a constant value greater than zero (eg. 2000).

I'm running LabVIEW 6.0i on Windows XP.

I need to edit pretty large strings, but by testing this VI with smaller ones, I get the same result.

I'm attaching this VI to the post.

If anyone could give me some advice, I'd be very greatful.

Mamian,

what you see here is a bug in LabVIEW 6i that was fixed in LabVIEW 6.1 and it occurrs when the replace string input contains a ' character. If you can't work around this issue the only option will be to upgrade to LabVIEW 6.1 or later.
